I'm Dr. Hou Ruiyan, and I lead a small team within Prof. Zou Quan's research group at the Yangtze Delta Region Institute (Quzhou), University of Electronic Science and Technology of China!
We leverage machine learning to model biological information flow across multiple scales. Our current work spans two areas: (1) dissecting gene regulation and sequence to function relationships through deep learning, and (2) de novo antibody design using generative AI and structural prediction algorithms. By partnering closely with experimental groups, we ground our computational models in biological reality—iterating between data generation, model training, and experimental validation.
